Hello 

I have small problem and I will be happy for your help.

If I play the game after few minutes the processor frequency drops from 2,6Ghz-3,4ghz to 1,49Ghz and the game start lagging.  The cpu frequency is still 1,49 till the end of the game, sometimes after few second the processor is again alive, but sometimes is still 1,49Ghz does not change and I have to restart the notebook.

All temperature are okay around 75C. 

Is this normal? :/

Recently I was given a Ideapad 130-15AST, Model: 81H5 as a gift.  I would like to make it run a little smoother so I was looking into RAM upgrades.  I've done a few google searches and I'm finding info for other models but not for mine so I have a few questions:

Would a ram upgrade actually help reduce lag?

Is it possible to upgrade RAM in this model?

What should I look for when purchasing a RAM module?

Also I've fiddled with the settings to improve performance but are there any other minor upgrades I could do to improve performance?

and fix it on a x1 carbon non touch to be touch one?

I have a brand new Lenovo Flex 5 that once before displayed 'plugged in, not charging' before, but it went away after plugging to another outlet. It also worked later in the same outlet that was used when the 'plugged in, not charging' first happened. Also, all the other laptops / appliances work normally on that outlet, so it is not an issue with it.

Yesterday all outlets result in showing this message. Is there a way to fix this without having to retu power supply, etc.? This looks like a software issue to me -> brand new power supply / no issues with outlets used, etc.

Any suggestions are welcomed as I use the Flex for work and this is a bit of a hindrance to say the least...

I have purchased 530s last week. I immediately noticed that the battery discharges just itself when the laptop is tued off. It loses like 5% oveight. 

- Windows fast boot is disabled

- USB being ON for charging function is disabled

- Windows, BIOS, all drivers have been updated 

Please, does anybody has some advice ?

Since yesterday, the animation next to my mouse pointer (the round blue circle) can't stop (alteatively on/off very quickly)

I didn't installed anything or updated anything. 

I tried to unplug the mouse : no change

It just came, suddenly,  like that.

and finally I had chance to use card reader couple of days ago But I couldnt find reader.....

so I look up purchase history and I order with 7 in 1 card reader This is really strange

So I open the machine and tada !! there it is .....IT WAS HID BEHIND OF BEZEL 

they didnt put correct bezel for the pc

NOW I NEED CORRECT FRONT BEZEL WHERE CAN I GET IT??

I have updated my lenovoEMC hard drive with the latest update and now when i open the it on my samsung tv it says No video files found on connected device, yet they are on there as i can open on my PC and play them. all my folders are showing as shared.

Any advice greatly appreciated as i have spent hours trying to get to work.

I'm working with a Redhat VM that indicates VMware Tools OSPs is installed and running, since its VMware Tools status in vSphere is "Running (3rd-party/Independent)". I have also verified that the VMware Tools daemon, vmtoolsd, is running by running the following command ...

# pgrep -fl vmtoolsd
>> 6048 /usr/bin/vmtoolsd

However, whenever I try to run the vmware-toolbox-cmd command, it says command not found. What is this VM missing that it has VMware Tools OSPs installed but does not have the command for it?

I have problem with booting throught network on T440.

As I scan network with wireshark there is no packet sending from T440.

Another computers in same network is working fine and boot througt PXE.

I have last BIOS.

I have set Secure boot and UEFI Only.

On screen is just Starting PXE IPv4 and after some time Starting PXE IPv6 and this is all.

I recently bought a Thinkpad Carbon X1. Does anyone else notice high temps and high heat when they screen share? I wouldn't think a light task like that would cause such a flare in heat and performance but I must be wrong? 

Anyone else with the same experience I'd love to hear from you!

I recently purchased a Thinkpad E585.  Windows update failed.  I attempted to do a fresh install from the iso directed to on the windows website.  The problem I am running into is that the install keeps telling me that the drivers are not found.  I downloaded all of the drivers from the lenovo support site, placed them on a second usb and windows states that no drivers are found.

I cannot install windows and am left with an unusable laptop.  Windows recovery is also not working.  Does anyone have any solutions to this?  I love the computer but if it is just going to be an expensive paperweight it is of no use to me.

I'm looking to replace a Macbook Pro Retina 2013 right now. The primary purpose is notetaking and student work.

1. Will getting a Yoga with FHD be a bad enough downgrade from retina display to warrant getting a UHD?
2. Is a Lenovo Yoga 920 8gb UHD offered, or is it strongly recommended/necessary to have 16gb with UHD?
3. How do I figure out if the c930 is worth it? I know the battery life is an hour shorter than the 920. I feel like the rest comes down to little details, but the difference is only $50. Which is better for my purpose?
